Pet UltrasoundHeading
Ultrasound is a noninvasive procedure that uses high frequency sound waves to produce a real time image of your pet’s internal organs.

Bellevue Animal Hospital is pleased to provide this diagnostic service in-house so that your animal can receive the kind of care they deserve all in one place.
Diagnosing Problems with your Pet
We often think of ultrasound as a tool used to check on the progress of a pregnancy in an expecting mother. While that’s also true for cats and dogs, this tool has many more uses in diagnosing problems with your pet. Ultrasound can be used to evaluate everything from the bladder and kidneys to the intestines, liver and even the heart. We’ll always discuss these tests with you prior to performing them so that you’re aware of any costs involved and why the veterinarian is requesting them.
We proudly offer veterinary ultrasound services through our partnership with Vision Pet Imaging. This mobile veterinary ultrasonographer visits each week to perform these diagnostic tests. Unfortunately, we are not equipped to offer same-day and emergency ultrasounds. If your pet needs an ultrasound right away, we will refer you to Northwest Veterinary Imaging.
