Dr. Jill Todd has spent years training with alternative forms of veterinary medicine to bring our clients at Bellevue Animal Hospital well-rounded medical treatments. Laser therapy is one of the many options available for a variety of painful and debilitating conditions your pets may be experiencing.

  • We’ll often suggest laser therapy alongside or in place of pharmaceutical pain management where appropriate. These treatments help relieve pain, stimulate healing at the cellular level and increase wellbeing and longevity.

A Great Option

We use what’s commonly referred to as a ‘cold’ laser, a low-level laser that won’t hurt the animal when applied. In fact, most pets become relaxed and even sleepy during their laser therapy appointments, making it a great way to non-invasively treat health problems. Whether your pet is experiencing acute pain while healing from a surgical procedure or has had chronic musculoskeletal problems for years, laser therapy may be a great option to alleviate discomfort. We’ve seen excellent results treating chronic inflammation and soft-tissue injuries as well.

If you have any questions about whether your pet may benefit from laser therapy treatments, please feel free to contact us at the clinic. We’re happy to help your pet achieve a pain-free life.
